Trained as a primary school teacher, Damien Bruyndonckx began his career in 1998 as a French as a Foreign Language teacher in two elementary school in the southern U.S. state of Louisiana.
In 2001, he began his career as an IT trainer, quickly acquiring the title of Adobe Certified Instructor on several products, including Acrobat, Dreamweaver, ColdFusion and Captivate. In 2009, Damien decided to return to teaching and became the eLearning coordinator for a Brussels-based communications college. His teaching activities have earned him recognition as an Adobe Education Leader since November 2011.
In October 2015, he founded One2Learn SRL, a Belgian company active in the eLearning, digital transition and eLearning tools training sectors. He is the author of several books on Adobe Captivate, TechSmith Camtasia and Adobe Learning Manager. This writing activity brings him into close contact with the Captivate development team, of which he remains one of the most loyal partners to this day.

In June 2020, Damien published his first book in French on TechSmith Camtasia with Éditions ENI. With the publication of this book, Damien becomes a TechSmith Recommended Trainer and regularly hosts official webinars on Camtasia and Snagit.
He loves to travel and is a regular speaker at Learning conferences around the world. Damien is a big fan of music and occasionally works in the entertainment industry as a sound and light technician for various artists.
