Adobe Captivate
Adobe Captivate is one of the leading software solutions for creating highly engaging, interactive and responsive eLearning content. With Adobe Captivate, you can develop eLearning content for any screen, without any programming. Learn how to master Captivate and create your own interactive videos, drag-and-drop interactions, virtual reality modules, online quizzes and more.
During this four-day training course, you'll get a comprehensive overview of Adobe Captivate. This course is based on the creation of various interactive eLearning modules designed to represent the different types of projects available in Adobe Captivate.
First, you'll learn how to create a typical Captivate interactive project. This will give you the opportunity to go through the Captivate objects one by one and discover the main tools of the application. Next, you'll use the built-in screen capture engine of Captivate to create an interactive software simulation and a demonstration. Then you'll move on to more advanced Captivate features such as responsive projects, interactive video, virtual reality as well as advanced variables and actions.
Although the course content mentioned below is based on Captivate 2019, this training can be given on any version of Captivate (the course content is then adapted according to the chosen version).
This course is intended for organizations and will be held at your premises. We do not organize calendar courses on Adobe Captivate.
This course is designed for beginners. No prior knowledge of Captivate is required. A working knowledge of your operating system (Mac or Windows) is all it takes to get you started!
Author or co-author of the "Mastering Adobe Captivate" series of books, Damien is a long-standing Adobe partner and world-renowned expert on Adobe Captivate. Damien is one of the instructors for the official Adobe certification (Adobe Certified Professional: Adobe Captivate). Damien teaches Captivate courses all over the world and is a regular presenter at various eLearning events.
The content in this course is based on the table of contents in the latest edition of Damien Bruyndonckx's book "Mastering Adobe Captivate 2019."
All this content is delivered in four days of training. You can also handpick the chapters you wish to cover so to create your own customized course. In which case, the duration of the course depends on you modules selection.
This course can be delivered either face-to-face or online. The exercises accompanying this course are taken from the book "Mastering Adobe Captivate 2019 - Fifth Edition" written by Dr. Pooja Jaisingh and Damien Bruyndonckx, your instructor.
In case of online training, training days do not have to be contiguous. We'll schedule the training according to your needs and availability.
